Brand new eyes!
Friday, January 29th, 2010
I had contemplated getting Lasik for many years. I had determined a long time ago that I would trust no one but Dr. Lewis as my eye doctor, but I wasn’t sure if I could afford the procedure. But after personal contemplation and talking it over with my husband and others who were thrilled with newfound 20/20 vision, I knew I couldn’t wait.
Dr. Lewis’ office was very helpful as I lined up my financing and got all of my appointments scheduled. The next month was full of anticipation as I grew tired of wearing my glasses and increasingly excited to live without them!
The office staff and Dr. Lewis were so wonderful throughout the process; I can’t stress enough how confident I felt with their services. They are always great with questions and cordial during every phone call and office visit. Because of my confidence in the team, I was only a little nervous for the procedure. Instead, I was so excited that I was going to change my life drastically!
I now enjoy 20/15 vision and I’m loving every minute of it. With a toddler, I can jump up in the middle of the night or early in the morning without having to worry about glasses or contact lenses. Even getting ready for bed at night WITHOUT having to take out my contacts feels like time I’ve won back.
I would highly recommend Lasik and Dr. Lewis to anyone. I also recommend doing it as soon as possible; it’s that many more days, months and years to enjoy your vision.
Thanks, Dr. Lewis, and all of your staff – you have another satisfied patient!
Cheers,
Alicia Hassinger

Awesome Vision after LASIK
Sunday, January 10th, 2010
My name is Mike Mohr and Dr. Lewis performed LASIK on my eyes for my astigmatism 3 weeks ago. The results are remarkable and I love not having to wear glasses anymore. I have especially noticed how clear my vision is when skiing . I used to struggle with making out the terrain on the mountain especially in flat light …. now the terrain is crystal clear and I am not wipingout as much : ). I would highly recommend LASIK to anyone who is thinking about it. Dr. Lewis and his staff are awesome and they will walk you through the entire procedure. I was amazed that I only felt a little pressure and not pain during the procedure. Thanks to the entire Cherry Creek Eye staff and Dr. Lewis for all their help!

ReStor multi-focal lens-replacement surgery for both eyes
Friday, January 8th, 2010
Over the course of the past 15 months I underwent lens-replacement surgery for first my left eye, and, more recently, my right. In both cases I opted for the ReStor multi-focal lens. Before surgery my vision was myopic (20-200+ in both eyes), presbyopic (I’m 62), astigmatic, and somewhat occluded by cataracts. Today my vision is a crystal bright ~20-20 in both eyes and for most things I need no glasses whatsoever. Due to a slight lingering astigmatism, small text is sometimes difficult to read, especially in dim-light situations, so I still utilize reading glasses for extending reading and when working at the computer. The surgery was quick, practically painless, and healed remarkably soon. Dr. Lewis is a compassionate, consummately competent professional who immediately engenders trust and ease of mind. He takes the time to get to know you as an individual and to address any concerns and answer any questions you might have. He seems to take a distinct pleasure in the services he provides and the magical results his skilled hands bring about. I would heartily recommend Dr. Lewis and all the friendly folks at Cherry Creek Eye Clinic to anyone thinking about having similar corrective surgery.

Hi my name is Florence and five weeks ago Dr. Stuart did Cataract Surgery on my left eye and I didn’t really know how bad my eyes were until than. When I came out of surgery and I could see how bright everything was and only than could I see how bad the right eye was. Two weeks ago he did the right eye and has given me the greatest gift ever. There is no way to say Thank You for what you have given me. I want to tell everyone that the trust that I had in Dr. Stuart was never a question and for that I am very greatful. I can see because of him, and that even after him telling me how bad the Cataracts were I didn’t know how much sight I really was missing. I will always pass his name on to anyone who will listen. Again my sincere thanks for what you gave me back.
